September 17, 2025 – Nitro Motorsports is set for another busy weekend of competition, adding a new face to its ARCA Menards Series program while also fielding a deep roster of talent in the Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli. Competing in both Indiana and Virginia in another dual event weekend, Nitro Motorsports aims to add more victories and podiums to its growing results resume.
In ARCA Menards Series action, Andrew Patterson will join the Nitro Motorsports stable, making his debut at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana, behind the wheel of the team’s #70 entry. Patterson, who has nine ARCA starts, becomes the latest driver to compete under the Nitro banner, reinforcing the team’s ongoing commitment to developing talent across multiple disciplines.
Meanwhile, the focus will also shift east as Nitro Motorsports heads to VIRginia International Raceway for the next round of the Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli. The team will bring an impressive nine-driver lineup featuring Sam Corry, Gian Buffomante, Julian DaCosta, Boris Said Jr., Cale Phillips, Mia Lovell, JC Meynet, Ben Maier, and Seamus McKendree, all eager to continue the program’s string of strong results.
“We’re excited to bring Andrew Patterson into the Nitro Motorsports family for the ARCA Menards Series event at Salem,” explained Nick Tucker, Team Owner of Nitro Motorsports. “Our goal has always been to provide opportunities for talented drivers to showcase their abilities, and Andrew fits right into that mold. We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do in the #70.”
On the Trans Am front, Tucker added, “Trans Am has been a cornerstone of our program, and we’re proud to bring such a strong and diverse group of drivers to VIR. The talent in our lineup shows the depth of Nitro Motorsports, and we’re eager to build on our success in the series.”
Beyond stock cars and sports cars, Nitro continues to shape the future of motorsports through its karting program. The team recently celebrated a victory in the Stars Championship Series, further underscoring its role in mentoring the next generation of racers.
“Karting is where the foundation is built,” Tucker continued. “Our Nitro Kart program not only helps drivers win today but also prepares them for tomorrow. Whether it’s ARCA, Trans Am, GR Cup or beyond, we’re proud to be a part of that journey.”
With major events on deck in both ARCA and Trans Am, Nitro Motorsports continues to prove its versatility and commitment to driver development, delivering results at every level of the sport.
