Jake Latham to join NAI Racing while Coffey seals Championship
October 2, 2025
Coffey Motorsports and NAI Racing are pleased to announce the addition of accomplished driver Jake Latham to the team for the penultimate round of the 2025 Trans Am Championship. Latham will join the lineup behind the wheel of the team’s third Maserati GT4 entry.
This news follows Chris Coffey’s dominant victory at the previous round, which secured his second GT Class Championship and an impressive third consecutive Trans Am title.
“I’m very pleased to welcome such a talented driver like Jake to the team,” said Coffey. “His track record speaks for itself, and I know I’ll have my work cut out for me competing alongside him.”
While new to Trans Am competition, Latham brings extensive experience and success across multiple disciplines. A multi-time national champion in both open-wheel and GT categories, he most recently competed in LMP3 before making the move to the Coffey Motorsports Maserati GT4 program.
“I’m excited and honored to represent Coffey Motorsports in the Maserati at Barber Motorsports Park,” Latham said. “Chris has clearly set the benchmark in Trans Am GT over the past several seasons, and I look forward to contributing to the team’s success in my first TA event.”
Looking ahead, Coffey Motorsports and NAI Racing plan to expand their Trans Am presence in 2026.
