CTEK Continues Miller Racing Sponsorship for 2014 Trans Am Series

CTEK-sponsored Chevrolet Camaro driven by Cameron Lawrence leads title defense in the TA2 class

Twinsburg, Ohio – CTEK Power, Inc. has renewed its sponsorship of the No. 1 CTEK/Northstar Miller Racing Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Cameron Lawrence, for the 2014 season. Last year, Lawrence was the TA2 class champion after winning eight out of ten races.

Lawrence, now in his fourth year of racing in Trans Am, has begun 2014 just like he finished 2013—in winning fashion. To date, Lawrence has claimed five of the six TA2 races this year.

"As a supplier to, and partner of, NorthStar Battery on their premier line of battery chargers, we are honored to sponsor Cameron Lawrence and Miller Racing,” said Matt Ingram, regional sales manager for CTEK. “So far, it is shaping up to be another championship season for the team.”

“Miller Racing is thrilled to continue its relationship with CTEK,” said Mike Miller, owner of Miller Racing. “CTEK battery chargers are used for every race weekend, and around the Miller Racing race shop, they’ve become an integral part of keeping Miller Racing batteries conditioned. The demands made on our racing batteries are very high and with the use of our CTEK chargers we have never had a failure or problem.”

NorthStar Battery Chargers by CTEK are multi-step, fully automatic, primary switch mode chargers for batteries that can support fast charging. Unlike traditional battery chargers, CTEK chargers are designed with a focus on simplicity, safety and flexibility. The NorthStar Battery CTEK chargers are weather resistant, with unique Supply and Recond modes, and a patented desulphation function.
