Championship Countdown - Jared Odrick: CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Pro/Am Challenge National Championship
December 22, 2025
Jared Odrick enjoyed a highly-successful 2025 campaign in the Trans Am Series’ CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Pro/Am Challenge, showcasing consistency, racecraft and clutch performances against a deep field of competitors. The former NFL player piloted his No. 00 BLACK Underwear/CoolBoxx Chevrolet Camaro for Troy Benner Autosport, claiming four victories and nine podiums on his way to his first-career Trans Am title.
Odrick began his season with two podiums in the first three races, scoring a third-place result at Sebring International Raceway and a runner-up finish at Sonoma Raceway. At WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, he scored his first Pro/Am victory of the season, a win that injected momentum into his title bid and boosted him into second in the standings behind 2024 champion Barry Boes.
“I'm just so happy that our team really hung in there,” said Odrick on the podium. “This weekend we had to keep our heads in it and really make sure that we got as many points as we could while we were out here. I couldn't be happier. We're going to have podium burgers and podium beers all night”
At Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, he seized his second Pro/Am victory of the season, narrowly defeating rival Keith Prociuk in a tense battle for the class lead.
“It was tough, obviously it's hot,” said Odrick on the podium. “We were all trying to keep our composure and catch our breath here. But it was awesome. [Keith] Prociuk and I were close all race, he was in my mirrors all race. At the end there, he actually overtook me going into [Turns] 8 and 9 because I had let some National guys go through to keep a clean race. He passed me, looked like he got a little wide in Turn 9, and he had to wait to get on throttle, and I was able to get on throttle a little bit earlier, so I was able to take it with two corners left. It was so, so dramatic.”
Following the race at Watkins Glen International, the Trans Am paddock lost Pro/Am Challenge competitor and 2024 champion Barry Boes, which hit Odrick hard as a competitor who looked up to him. While on the podium for finishing second in the first race without Boes, Odrick took an emotional moment to honor him.
“I'm pleased as punch. Barry meant a lot to me and he meant a lot to the series. I don't know why I'm so damn emotional, but we miss him.”
Odrick scored a crucial victory at VIRginia International Raceway, which Odrick credited to his TRB Autosport team testing before the event.
“It was great to be able to start [first of the Pro/Am competitors], it was the best we qualified,” said Odrick. “We had really good days of testing. Just a testament to TRB and Troy [Benner] and the crew just really committing themselves to this season, really going above and beyond and coming all the way from the Midwest and getting some test time.”
The high point of Odrick’s season came at the Mission Foods COTA SpeedTour at Circuit of The Americas, where the Pro/Am title was on the line entering the finale. Starting strong, he took the lead early and ran consistently at the front, ultimately capturing both the race win and the Pro/Am Challenge championship.
“This title means the world to me,” said Odrick at the conclusion of the race. “I'm super thankful for the competitors that are up here, especially Keith [Prociuk]. You know, we battled all year, and right now I'm also thinking a lot of [the late] Barry Boes. He was really smoking a lot of competitors at the beginning of the year, and he really stepped up his game and made us step up our game, too. I'm super thankful for him. And to my wife, Kristel, she has been the best.”
Later at the championship gala, Odrick reflected on his journey.
“In 2024, I joined the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Pro/Am Challenge to ‘be a real boy,’ a driver, a wheelman,” Odrick said. “While I’m not there yet, today’s accomplishment feels like a massive step in the right direction. I’m beginning to realize that there’s always a faster lap, a better car, a stickier tire out there, but today was an accomplishment of a two-year journey to being a Trans Am Pro/Am Champion.
“There’s no way I could have achieved this without TRB Autosport & Troy Benner’s guidance, Mike Skeen’s challenge, Evan Slater’s persistence, BLACK Underwear’s support, Cool Boxx’s engineering, Thomas O’Rourke’s attention to detail, Barry Boes’ dedication and Scott Adam’s heart. The M1 Racecars chassis was amazing and my season changed when I decided to drive their piece to the top of the class.”
