Flash: Said crosses finish line first

Boris Said crossed the finish line first to take a provisional victory in Sunday's Trans Am SpeedFest at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. 

Said took the lead in the No. 2 Pancho Weaver Dodge Challenger with 10 laps remaining after contact with Chris Dyson entering Turn 1 following a restart. Dyson had dominated the race up until that point in the No. 20 ATWELL CBD Ford Mustang. 

Tomy Drissi finished second for Burtin Racing, 1.818 seconds back.

Seven-time champion Ernie Francis Jr. ran with Dyson in the early laps before retiring with a suspension issue.

Erich Joiner won in XGT, Justin Oaks in SGT and Rob Crocker in SGT West.
