Harmon Finishes Second, Bollman Impresses in TA2 Debut at Barber

BIRMINGHAM, AL (October 19, 2025) – It was a weekend to remember for Silver Hare Racing as the team rolled into Barber Motorsports Park for Round 11 of the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series—Trans Am’s first-ever visit to the scenic Alabama circuit. What began with a heartfelt surprise on Friday morning turned into another podium celebration for rookie sensation Noah Harmon, who powered his No. 7 CUBE 3/Streetside Classics/Cure Bowl Chevrolet to a second-place finish in Sunday’s feature.

The weekend began with a special moment as the Silver Hare Racing team surprised Harmon with the unveiling of his newly “pinked-out” race car, created in partnership with the Cure Bowl and carefully wrapped by One on One Brand to raise awareness for breast cancer. Harmon had no idea the reveal was coming—smiling ear to ear as the cover came off in front of the entire Trans Am paddock.

“That was such a cool moment,” Harmon said. “I had no clue they were doing that, and to see the pink Cure Bowl car in person for the first time was awesome. The whole team made it really special.”

Once on track, Harmon’s weekend only got better. He qualified fifth in Saturday’s session and quickly went to work in Sunday’s caution-free race. Avoiding a first-turn incident on the opening lap, Harmon steadily picked his way through the field, climbing from fifth to second by the checkered flag. Although he closed to within six seconds of race leader Tristan McKee, Harmon ultimately settled for a strong runner-up finish—his second consecutive podium following his MX-5 Cup runner-up result at Road Atlanta the previous weekend.

“Our race was really good,” Harmon said. “Had a great battle with Adrian and Sam out there. Super proud to represent Cure Bowl, CUBE 3 with Nik Middleton, and Streetside Classics. I can’t thank Silver Hare Racing enough for all the work they did for me. Just couldn’t quite track down Tristan, but overall, it was a great race and a blast out there.”

Crew chief Jeff Cessna praised Harmon’s continued growth and consistency.
“Just a great day for Noah overall,” Cessna said. “To be proud of how the race went is an understatement. Noah did a fantastic job avoiding incidents and keeping the car clean for all 100 miles. He’s gotten so much better behind the wheel—his pace, his feedback, his confidence. The whole team worked their tails off to get both cars ready, and I’m proud of everyone. Hopefully, next race, we can improve by one position and grab that win with Noah.”

It was also a milestone weekend for Jake Bollman, who made his TA2 Series debut behind the wheel of the No. 75 Guy M. Turner/Silver Hare Racing Chevrolet. Bollman showed steady improvement throughout the weekend, gaining speed in every session and qualifying 10th.

At the start of Sunday’s race, Bollman skillfully avoided a multi-car incident in Turn 1 but was forced off-track, collecting grass and mud in the grille after overnight storms left the runoff areas soaked. The debris caused the engine to overheat, forcing an early pit stop. The Silver Hare crew quickly cleared the issue and sent Bollman back out, where he ran lap times consistent with the top four and climbed from 23rd back to 16th by the finish.

“Yeah, learned a lot today,” Bollman said. “Can’t thank Laura and Maurice enough for the opportunity, along with Guy M. Turner and Team Chevy. Unfortunate that I got caught in the grass there, but the guys did a great job clearing the grille and getting me back out quick. The car felt really good afterward, and I definitely got more comfortable as the race went on.”

Crew chief Jeff Holley was equally impressed.
“Jake did great today,” Holley said. “He’s going to be a force to be reckoned with in this series. You could see him learning and adjusting every lap. He stayed focused, kept pushing, and brought the car home strong in his debut.”
