Nitro Motorsports Adds Jackson Tovo to 2026 TA2 Campaign

Mooresville, NC — Nitro Motorsports continues to grow its driver lineup with the addition of Jackson Tovo, who will join the team’s Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli's CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series program for the 2026 season. Competing alongside his twin brother, Ethan Tovo, in one of the most competitive road racing platforms in North America, the Tovo Twins will reunite on the track once again in 2026.
The move to TA2 marks another step for Jackson within Nitro Motorsports' development system, as he continues to transition from the Toyota GR Cup North America program into full-bodied TA2 machinery, with his eye on NASCAR in the future.
Jackson brings significant experience across national-level racing despite his young age. After an impressive karting career, he advanced into the F1600 open-wheel platform before transitioning to the Toyota GR Cup North America series, where he showcased rapid development and consistent progression throughout his rookie campaign. His ability to adapt quickly to new car platforms, along with multiple top-ten finishes and competitive pace in GR Cup testing, has positioned him as a strong long-term prospect for Nitro Motorsports.
“I’m really excited to be joining the TA2 program with Nitro Motorsports for 2026,” explained Jackson Tovo. “Racing alongside Ethan is something we’ve done in the past, and I am excited to do again in the future. I will also be continuing with Toyota and Lee Faulk Racing in the Late Model Series and am looking forward to ample seat time in 2026.”
“Jackson has grown tremendously over the last couple of seasons, and stepping into TA2 is the natural next move for his development,” explained Nitro Motorsports Co-Owner Nick Tucker, who sees strong potential in Jackson’s progression and believes the Tovo brothers will be a formidable pair in the paddock. “His approach, attitude, and work ethic have been great, and pairing him with our other TA2 drivers will only strengthen the overall program. We expect Jackson to continue making big strides in 2026, and we’re excited to help guide him through this next phase of his career.”
With 2026 confirmed, Jackson is also pleased to add 77 Gounds Coffee to his growing partner lineup. A local coffee shop in Davidson, North Carolina, Tovo looks forward to bringing their logo to the Trans Am Series in 2026.

With a full slate of TA2 events on the calendar, Jackson will take part in preseason testing with additional race events to be announced soon.
