McKendree to pilot the #20 MotarSpeed Toyota in complete season campaign
Mooresville, NC — January 29, 2026 — Nitro Motorsports is thrilled to announce the return of Seamus McKendree to the team for a full-season assault on the 2026 Trans Am Series Presented by Pirelli. McKendree will pilot the #20 MotarSpeed Toyota, reuniting with the organization that has been instrumental in his racing development. The partnership marks an exciting new chapter for both driver and team as they prepare to compete at the highest level of American road racing throughout the 2026 season.

McKendree has demonstrated impressive form over the past season, establishing himself as a formidable competitor in Trans Am competition. In 2025, he showcased his talent with multiple strong finishes and a consistent pace. Building on that momentum, McKendree elevated his performance throughout the season, narrowly missing the podium while gaining valuable experience in wheel-to-wheel competition against some of the series’ most accomplished drivers.
