Showtime Motorsports Pre-Season Testing: Sebring & NOLA

The 2023 Trans Am season is just a few short weeks away and the Showtime Motorsports team has been taking advantage of the entire off-season to prepare.  Focused on success in both the TA and TA2 classes, there has been no shortage of effort to make sure all cars are ready for battle.

In addition, the team had a very successful five days on the road and testing at the first two tracks on the Trans Am schedule.  The team's first stop was NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, LA.  This is a new track to the Trans Am schedule and all five of the Showtime Motorsports drivers took full advantage of the two days on track.

Although this was a designated Trans Am test session, very few teams took advantage of the opportunity, leaving a wide open track for the team for the entire two days of testing.  A mixture of weather provided great opportunities to get the cars dialed in and the driver's were able to learn the new track without any distractions.

Following the weekend the team headed to Sebring for two more days of solid mid-week testing.  Heading to Sebring was key to allow the driver's to get re-acclimated to the season opening track, which always brings a record number of race entries in all classes.  Both days were relatively warm, but the sunshine always makes for a good productive day at the track from a set up standpoint.
