Silver Hare Ready for Double Redemption

Leading in Masters points, Owner/Driver Maurice Hull is excited to hit the track in the #57 ZL1 Camaro at the iconic southern Virginia track, “You always want to win, but when it’s your home track, the drive is even stronger. Everyone at Silver Hare has been working extra hard getting ready for this weekend.” Thanks to the VIR “Drivers Club” and the Silver Hare shop just a few hours away in High Point, NC – Maurice has countless laps around the 17-turn course and is ready to continue his drive for another Masters Title in TA2.

On the other half of the tent – the 2018 Champion Rafa Matos is hungry for a win in 2020. With multiple podiums, pole at Mid-Ohio, not to mention being relegated from 1^st to 3^rd post-race at Road America due to a red flag incident on track, Rafa is ready for redemption in both of the 100-mile TA2 races this weekend from VIR. When asked about this weekend Rafa was extremely excited, “We have a great opportunity to succeed at this beautiful track, we tested here a few times and I can’t wait to stand atop the podium this weekend.”

Crew Chief Jeff Holley was all smiles rolling into VIR, “We have had this marked on our calendar, VIR is our home track, we test here a lot – and it’s time for Silver Hare to get some redemption after Rafa’s win was taken away at Road America. They are not ready for the SHR Camaros!”

We know a lot of fans are upset about not being at the track this weekend, however TransAm has multiple ways for you to never miss a minute of action…
