Texas Drivers Make a Howe Long Haul to Mid-Ohio Wins.

Partner Release-- Azle, Texas driver John Atwell is the most recent winner of the $850 Howe Long Haul Contingency Award. The team traveled 1,511 miles northeast from the Lone Star state to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Mansfield, Ohio. Fellow Texan Gar Robinson brought home his first event win in TA2 sharing the Next Dimension 100 podium with his 74 Ranch teammate Shane Lewis in second and Illinois driver Adam Andretti in the ECC Motorsport entry. Cameron Lawrence broke up an all Howe Camaro sweep by taking the pole with a new fire truck red Howe Dodge Challenger.
Atwell's award is the seventh of twelve that Howe will issue this season. The Howe Long Haul award goes to the team that is competing in a Howe chassis who has traveled the furthest distance to compete in the event. Each team may only win the award once during the 12 event season. Winners are determined by Howe based on the travel distance from the home base of the team. The next award winner will follow the August 29th event at Road America, Wisconsin.
Howe Racing Enterprises was founded in 1971 and has been involved in the TA2 class since its inception in 2011. Howe produces a wide variety of specialized racing components in addition to partial and complete cars for asphalt racing worldwide.
